Glottopedia — a free encyclopedia of linguistics

There is a new initiative by a group of linguists to develop “Glottopedia, a free encyclopedia of linguistics“. The following information is taken from their main page:
Glottopedia is a freely editable encyclopedia for linguists by linguists that is currently being built up. It will contain dictionary articles on all technical terms of linguistics and is multilingual. In addition, there are survey articles, biographical articles und language articles, potentially on all linguists and all languages. Glottopedia also exists in German, and in the future hopefully also in Italian, Spanish, French, Russian, Chinese, and Japanese. Glottopedia needs your contribution!
We would like to encourage all Chadic Linguists to support this new initiative by contributing quality articles. If you have never before written or edited a wiki-style article, you should first read their help page. For further questions, visit their FAQ page.
