Online Resources for Endangered Languages

OREL (Online Resources for Endangered Languages) is a regularly updated library (also available in Arabic) of 250 annotated and categorised links to web resources on revitalising or documenting endangered languages, including links on language endangerment and revitalisation, technology and techniques, ethical issues, and funding sources.

OREL is hosted by the Hans Rausing Endangered Languages Project, which offers up to UK £1 million in grants each year for the documentation of endangered languages. So far, it has awarded grants to over 70 teams that are documenting endangered languages across the world, including two Chadic languages:
