First year of Chadic Newsletter Online
Posted by useibert on Friday, December 28, 2007
Chadic Newsletter in the present form has now been online for almost one year. Time to look back and think about what we have accomplished. So far, we have published 47 posts (including the one you are reading here) on different topics related to Chadic and Afroasiatic languages. Like in the former printed and online versions of Chadic Newsletter, these topics include invitations to and reports about conferences, notes about published, unpublished and forthcoming literature, reviews, research in progress, and other interesting news. In addition, a large collection of online references and a small collection of photographs has been started.
Looking forward to 2008, we would like to encourage you to contribute to Chadic Newsletter Online by:
- adding comments to the posts
- telling us more about your own Chadic and Afroasiatic research
- adding your own bookmarks to the growing collection
- writing reviews and short articles
Remember, according to the philosophy of Web 2.0, it is all about sharing and social networks!
Wishing you all a blessed, healthy, peaceful, and successful year 2008, I remain sincerely yours,
Uwe Seibert
